Google AdSense TOS is something every Google Publisher must read at least once. So many publishers get banned from AdSense because they try to earn money from Google using wrong ways without reading the TOS. AdSense is the best way to earn money online but they are very strict about their terms of service. They won't give you second chance if they find you breaking their TOS. It would endup with you are loosing the best way to earn money online. There are some very important guidelines you have to follow if you want to earn money from AdSense, Long term ! Things like invalid clicks, adult content, wrong traffic, no privacy policy, there are soo many simple things which suppose to avoid so you are earn money from AdSense safe.
So here is Google AdSense TOS in simple words. Things you are not suppose to do if you want to earn money from Google AdSense.
- You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users’ browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website.
- You are Prohibited to click on your own ads. Ask others to click on them, encourage site visitors to click on ads or put ads in a way site visitors would misunderstand Ads as site links.
- You are Prohibited to put ads in Web page or any Web site that contains any pornographic, hate-related, violent, or illegal content. Also same for Gambling site.
- Do not place more than 3 ad units and 3 ad links or 2 Adsense search boxes on any web page.
- Do not run competitive contextual text ad or search services on the same site. Ads which looks same like your Google ads.
- Do not confuse with adjacent images - It was a common policy to increase CTR by placing same number of images as the number of text ads, which falsely gave the impression that the text ads represented an explanation to these images. Inserting a small space or a line between the images and ads is not allowed. Make sure that the ads and images are not arranged in a way that could easily mislead or confuse your visitors
- Do not alter the Google Ad code. Use your AdSense account to edit your AdSense Ad code.
- Do not send your ads by email.
- Don't create more than 1 AdSense account.
- Don't use wrong type of traffic sources such as PTC traffic, Banner exchanges etc.
- Don't put Ads or Ad code in pop ups, Iframes or frame pages. This is against AdSense TOS mainly because it breaks the connection between ads and content.
